Eric Strother

The vast range of forms and colors that animals take inspire Eric’s paintings. He uses careful brush strokes, organized in such a way that they transform from an abstracted collection of marks into the figures of animate subjects.
Eric works on a wide variety of art projects at his home studio in Newnan, Georgia. Moving beyond the familiar oil and acrylics paints he used during his studies at Boston University, he experiments with digital figure painting, molding plastics, and sculpting with synthetic clay.
He currently has artwork on display in the Dogwood Gallery, in Tyrone, GA, and the Corner Arts Gallery, in Newnan Georgia, where he also teaches one on one classes based on his knowledge of various arts media.
